Settlement Services
In 2002, with the financial assistance of the Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the LCC now provides Immigration Assistance with the following services:
recommend where to find an apartment
recommend how to qualify for a health card and a social insurance card
recommend where to find English lessons for free
help open a bank account
recommend how to get government support
help fill-out government forms
recommend a notary or translator
All services are provided free of charge to landed immigrants for the first 3 years.

Temporary Resident Visa
If you are planning to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa for Canada, the Canadian Embassy will continue accepting application forms available from www.cic.gc.ca or www.canada.pl that are filled out either electronically or by hand.
