In 2002, with the financial assistance of the Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the LCC now provides Immigration Assistance with the following services:

• recommend where to find an apartment
• recommend how to qualify for a health card and a social insurance card
• recommend where to find English lessons for free
• help open a bank account
• recommend how to get government support
• help fill-out government forms
• recommend a notary or translator

All services are provided free of charge to landed immigrants for the first 3 years.
